What is an apostate church? An apostasy is a falling away from what was once believed. Wherein, in these end times, (which we are definitely in) before the Rapture of the Church, there will be and IS a great falling away of the church, especially in America. Look at what comes out of Hollywood. Look at what is on television with all the sex and violence. There are no more stops anymore. There are no morals. There is no love of God or Country or patriotism from the left in America.
II Thessalonians 2:1-3 “Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come (Rapture) unless the apostasy (falling away) comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.” Before the anti-Christ is revealed, there will be lawlessness, already in process. The one who is coming (Jesus) will appear after a furious activity of apostasy. Satan and all the powers of darkness will be setting the stage, destroying the faith of many. Because sin (as it is now) will be more rampant, the love of many of God’s people will grow very cold. There will be shipwrecked believers on all sides. God’s greatest concern is not what Christians are falling into….but, what they are falling away from! Multitudes of Christians, including pastors, deacons, and ministry people of all kinds are losing their faith and confidence in the power of Jesus’ name! Now, if you read my blog too, on the Old Cross and the New THAT is evident. There is a turning towards methods, psychology, human expertise, and the philosophies and doctrines of men, not God including just a “feel good” sales pitch , without scripture or the CROSS! Some of this article comes from an old article in the 80′s by Dave Wilkerson, with my own interjections. It is a good wake up call.
The message begins with a revelation of God’s grief over the cause of the apostasy! “Woe to the rebellious children, declares the Lord, who execute a plan, but, not mine, and make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, in order to add sin to sin; Who proceed down to Egypt without consulting Me, to take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh, and to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!” Isaiah 30:1-2 Why does God call them rebellious children? Because they have now committed the ultimate sin, causing Him the utmost grief? Here is introduced a sin WORSE than adultery, or fornication or stealing , or lying, or hating one’s brother. It is the ultimate sin of rebellion and apostasy! God calls it a compounded sin…adding sin upon sin! It is a slap in God’s face…The consummate, ultimate, most brazen sin possible for a child of God to commit. It is proceeding down to Egypt rather than consulting the Lord! This was directed to the leaders of Israel under Hezekiah, but also to the church of these latter days.
Drug abuse, alcoholism, adultery, gambling, homosexuality, fornication, pornography are all sins against the flesh, against society, and against the laws and commandments of God. But THIS sin is against the Lord Himself! It is a personal indignity against a holy God! “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are very strong, but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord!” Isaiah 31:1. Remember, this is all about how to be delivered from the enemy! How do we deliver God’s people from the raging enemies? The Assyrians are at the gate, threatening destruction. Assyria means successful enemy here.. but, here too, now we have the war on terror, and the haters of Christians out to kill us from the Old Persian Empire (Iran). How are God’s leaders going to face this formidable enemy at the gate? Do we have ”believers” in Washington and in our pulpits ready to defend Christ in this nation and the Cross, not to mention fight without compromise? We have become apostate….and our leaders do not want to “rock the boat” or ”stir up”. They don’t want to STAND for values, and Christianity and what America was founded on.
As a youngster during WWII, the church in Germany did exactly what we are doing now! Not a one spoke out against Hitler….and our own ambassador then, Joseph Kennedy the bootlegger, thought we should make a pac with Hitler. How blinded do we have to be? Now, are we being blinded by Putin and Russia too? He is still KGB, and history repeats itself. These little countries of Georgia, Ukrain, and then Poland to the left..All border next to Turkey, and south of them, is Iraq and Iran. Are we being blindsided thinking Putin is a “good guy”? He is selling arms to Iran, and Iran to the south moving north and Russia moving south? There goes democracy in the area…Isaiah is right! God is right! Iraq, Georgia, Afghanistan…All these countries that want democracy, including Jordan are hurting. They are our allies, and it is time the CHURCHES came together, including the Catholic church and the Vatican. Pope John Paul, knew..a man born in Poland remembering what Hitler did….and later the Russians..Speak up churches! They want to kill us that are Christians and are…and they want to take over all the oil and cripple our economy and kill us! History repeats itself!
“For this rebellious people who refuse to listen to the instruction of the Lord” Isaiah 30:9. Moses prophesied that this very thing would happen in the latter days! He foretold of the great falling away of God’s people. “Take this book of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may remain there as a witness against you. For I know your rebellion and your stubbornness; behold, while I am still alive with you today, you have been rebellious against the Lord; how much more, then, after my death? For I know that after my death you will act corruptly and turn from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days, for you do that which is evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger with the work of your hands.” Deuteronomy 31:26 -29.
God is saying to us now…”When you were first called…when I touched you and delivered you from the enemy…you wanted only ME! I was your joy…I alone was your satisfaction. (As new baby Christians after we were saved). You were not burned out; you had a yearning in your heart after ME! Now you have experts and how to books, seminars, training sessions, experts, and all the technology on internet, never mind, texting day in and day out. No one talks on the phone to each other anymore..They just send a text message. We have become so impersonal and cold, selfish. The me ism generation, excluding God. You are learning how to do things better, but getting to know God less! You do things God says, in “My” name, yet always busy, hardworking on the go ALL the time…But, it leaves you weary, burned out, and empty because you are on the road to Egypt! You are headed in the wrong direction! You know , I see this all the time….YOU CANNOT hear from God unless you are in that quiet place to hear that small small voice of God in prayer, that comes through in the spirit. How can you hear from God with a stereo blasting while online, or text messaging all at the same time or while going , going , going…like the energizer bunny. You can’t! It is a falling away and becoming apostate.
Our churches no longer have the power of God to attract people. They go down to Egypt and borrow its music, dancing…Its all entertainment now, hoping for a crowd. It is a “sales pitch” and gimmicks, most of which with the “prosperity” message, to make money. They have NO PASSION FOR SOULS, just crowds! Church growth at any cost? The average church bulletin looks like a theater calendar. It is a stench in God’s nostrils. (Now, not all of today’s mega churches are this way…but, most are.) Which is why we need too, discernment, instead of being attracted to “what is playing “, ask “do they preach the cross? ” “Do they preach holiness, judgment, and repentance?”
Jeremiah was sent to prophesy against the apostate Jews, the Lord’s own people. God warned him: “They will fight against you…they have forsaken Me, the fountain of the living waters, to hew for themselves cisterns…the dread of Me is not in you (them)” Jeremiah 1:19, 2:13-19). Why do people embrace the prosperity message and reject correction and calls to repentance and holiness? It is because of their life-styles. Prosperity preaching fits beautifully into their successful life-styles. They are in no mood to give up anything or to hear of crosses and losses. They are into buying, acquiring, enjoying, climbing! They refuse to heed the prophetic warnings that the party will soon be over.
“And whose collapse is like the smashing of a potter’s jar; so ruthlessly shattered” Isaiah 30:12-14. There is coming a sudden, overnight, ruthless shattering…a collapse of ministries, churches, lifestyles of those who are at ease in Apostasy. There is coming an economic calamity so sudden, so unexpected, the money flow will stop! Man-centered ministries will go bankrupt one after another. Apostate churches laden with debt will fall into bankruptcy…..and I’ve already seen that happen. The ones that preach prosperity exclusively will become the most hated preachers in the land. An awesome collapse is coming soon. The kingdom of self, of pride, and of ambition is coming down. The warnings of Isaiah will not be heeded, as well as preachers who tell the truth and warned! These warnings will not trouble those Christians who are shut in with God.. (Halleluiah) Yet, trusting in Jesus , He said to us that are faithful, “Fear not”…For there is a glorious side to it all!
The closing curtain is about to fall and the church is getting its final call to repent, forsake its selfish ways, get back to the holy place, and be poured out as a sacrifice. A remnant now is being deeply stirred by the spirit of God. Is the spirit of God calling you? That sweet-smelling aroma to Him. Are you weaned from the “world”? Do you feel the spirit of God tugging at you inside that a mighty move is about to happen? I do.. God is going to do something or allow something to happen to get us on our knees. He wants us to be a living sacrifice to Him. Thank you Lord Jesus, for those Christians that are obedient to you Lord, and love you. I pray that America changes and gets down on her knees in repentance. How about you and your walk with God..Do you even know Him? He’s here..just waiting……. and meanwhile in the natural, we need to deal with Iran and Russia! If not? They will make their way to our shores! I pray for the wisdom of our leaders and America! I pray for the hearts of church leaders to clean up the stench stop the Apostasy ……..we are grieving our Lord who loves us so much.

“God promised the prophet Zechariah that in the last days he would be a protective wall of fire around His people: ‘For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about.’ Zechariah 2:5).
Isaiah also testifies to this: ‘For thou hast been a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. (Isaiah 25:4)There shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain. (4:6) These promises are meant to comfort us as ‘prior warnings.’ You see all the prophets warn of a great storm coming in the final days. And this storm will beat against God’s wall of protection with ferocity. Jesus says the coming storm will be so frightful and overwhelming that people’s hearts will fail them as they see it forming (Luke 21:26). If Jesus says this storm is going to be ferocious we can know it will be an awesome moment in history. Yet the Bible assures us God never sends judgment on any society without first revealing to his prophets what he plans to do? ‘Surely the Lord God will do nothing but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets.’ (Amos 3:7)
We are always to keep this in mind: God’s purpose in lovingly calling us back to himself is to protect us in such times of storm. Yet we then and now, grow weary of these warnings. They simply didn’t want to hear anymore. No one now wants to hear the true word and warnings either. So, the prophet’s voice got switched off. Same later in Ezekiel. How he warned people, and us, today as well. Yet, many do not want to hear. He told Ezekiel to tell people, ‘I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate…..because of all the abominations which they have committed.” Ezekiel 33:288-29. Think about the $14 trillion we owe China, while they are making all our products, the out of control fires destroying land, houses, the drought and dust storms destroying farms, corn, which cuts our food and the prices go up…along with gas. This is only the beginning. Who will we rely on? It is only the HOLY church of Jesus we will be able to find refuge in.. For the rest who are happy clappy will all fold! GOD Almighty Himself in all power, will take them out, and THAT is what will bring about the mightiest move of repentance and REVIVAL we have ever seen. When that happens, look up …Look up in the air, for Jesus will come in the Rapture.
The majority of churchgoers today soundly reject all prophetic warnings of a coming storm. Indeed the American church is the most blatant ‘feel good’ church in all history,” and as T.D. Jakes said too, “the most scripturally illiterate”, too. But, like Israel, we are only experiencing the calm before the storm. Like in Moses time, while he was on that mountaintop for 40 days, all kinds of lawlessness took over, including drunkenness, and acts just like today’s world. Christians today too, are casting off the yoke of Christ, tossing aside all limits of restrictions.” Even to Chrislam now, a new move with Islam…a horrific blatant act going against everything Holy and the CROSS at Calvary, where Jesus died for the sins of the world.
We are in an economic recession, and we’ve all heard this for many years in churches. Like with the prophets, people grow sick of the warning sounds. “The Apostle Peter predicted that many believers would have the same attitude as these scoffers: ‘There shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation. So, they think the warnings and prophets predicting the storms are fools. This is the very reason God tells h is prophets to shout their warnings from the housetops.
Just before his death and resurrection Jesus stared into the face of a horrible coming storm. He saw what was just ahead: Jerusalem would he surrounded by powerful armies, the temple would be destroyed, the city would be burned to the ground, and thousands would die on crosses erected by the invading enemy. The Jews’ entire society as they knew it was about to collapse. Christians seemed focused mostly on their own needs: ‘my needs, my problems, my past, my future; how my friends have failed me, how the church as wounded me.’ God’s people were no longer weeping over a dying world. Yet the Holy Spirit showed me who our Lord reacted in the face of the coming storm. The apostle John writes, ‘As he is, so are we in this world’ (1John 4:17) We simply have to have Jesus mindset in all things.”
“God wants us to be prepared. He is clearly telling us, ‘Don’t be moved or agitated by anything you see. Keep your eyes focused on me and you will retain your joy. It is as if Christ is telling us, ‘I faced everything you’re going to face in the closing days of time. I had the same foreboding feelings because I saw the coming storm.” But, when you run into the presence of our Father and He lifts all our concerns, it is in this presence, where we find, joy, hope and the rest I would ever need, to the very end.” I have peace and joy because I have HIM in me. My flesh shall rest in HOPE..and with (Acts 2:26) and with that hope, our faith grows, that which is unseen. It is only too, by trusting in the only one that loves us and will hold us in His arms of love. Do you have hope? Are you washed in the blood of the lamb?
