Quote Patrick Henry and what this country was based on:  “No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House.  Bu different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve.  This is no time for ceremony. The questing before the House is one of awful moment to this country.  For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of responsibility which we hold to God and our country.  Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act disloyalty toward the Majesty Heaven, which I revere above all earthly Kings.

Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope.  We are apt o shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts.  Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty?  Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not [Jer. 5:21],  the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation?  For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.  I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.  I know of no way of judging of he future but by the past.  And judging by the past, I wish to know there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been  pleased to solace themselves and House.  Is it that insidious smile with which our petition has been lately received?  Trust it not, sir; it will prove a snare to your feet.  Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss [Matt. 26:48].  Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with those warlike preparations which cover our waters and darken our land.  Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation?  Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled that force must be called in to win back our love?  Let us not deceive ourselves, sir.  These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort.  I ask gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission?  Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it?  Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies?  No, sir, she has none.  They are meant for us:  they can be meant for no other.  They are sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the British ministry have been so long forging.  And what have we to oppose them?  Shall we try argument?  Sir we have been trying that for the last ten years.  Have we anything new to offer upon the subject?  Nothing.  We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been in vain.  Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication?  What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted?  Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves.  Sir, we have done everything that could be done to avert the storm which is now coming on.  We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament.  Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the throne!  In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation.  There is no longer any room for hope.  If we wish to be free–if we mean contending–if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained–we must fight!  I repeat it, sir, we must fight!  An appeal to arms and to the God of hosts is all that is left us!

They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary.  But when shall we be stronger?  Will it be next week, or the next year?   Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house?  Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction?  Shall we acquire the means of effectual  resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?  Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power.  The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us.  Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone.  There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us [2 Chron. 32:8].  The battle, sir, is ot to the strong alone [Eccl. 9:11]; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave.  Besides, sir, we have no election.  If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest.  There is no retreat but in submission and slavery!  Our chains are forged!  Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston!  The war is inevitable–and let it come!  I repeat it, sir, let it come.

It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter.  Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace–but there is no peace [Jer. 6:14].  The war is actually begun!  The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms!  Our brethren are already in the field!  Why stand we here idle [Matt. 20:6]?  What is it that gentlemen wish?  What would they have?  Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?  Forbid it, Almighty God!  I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”  end

Wherefore, that about sums up the start of our Revolutionary war in America.  Think of the statement that was made here.  Are we as Christians…(and even secular) going to be stupid enough as this Governor,  (whose name I don’t even know), from Missouri who would not sign a bill outlawing Sharia law?   FEAR…Where is the strength, in Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death?  As for me, I side with Rev. Franklin Graham, and other Christians as well as Huckabee, Lt. Col Allen West, and Beck…I don’t care WHAT this Government imposes on me, I shall only listen to one, His name is JESUS!  I choose light verses dark and evil.. I shall STAND….will you?

Compromise

posters_034Compromise is not of God, when we are dealing with evil.  “Follow the instructions of the Lord…do not compromise with evil. “Psalm 119:1-3  Much of the following here is from a man I deeply admire, the Reverend Franklin Graham, May’s Decision Magazine.

When Noah, the movie was released, it was described as a “biblically inspired fantasy film”, loaded with compromises that cannot drown the truth.  Some say the world is not held responsible for misinterpreting God’s Word, but the Bible does not agree.  “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually…and He was grieved in His heart.  And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”  Genesis 6:5-6,13 God not only holds His followers to account, but all of mankind.  The human race continues gulping the bitter water in the sea of immorality, rejecting truth and trying to silence God’s people.  Immorality still reigns alongside of evil around the world.  Much of what has been argued between God’s people and the left wing liberals, many of those who call themselves Christians have departed from the clarity of God’s Word, as the leadership of World Vision US did in March when they announced heir employment of “gay Christians in legal same sex marriages.”

Graham goes on to say, “The very day World Vision announced its great compromise on a basic truth of Scripture, that the homosexual lifestyle is sin and that marriage is between a man and a woman, the Supreme Court began hearings to determine if the owners of Hobby Lobby, should be required to provide life terminating drugs etc. to their employees, in spite of their spiritual convictions.” “The contrast was stunning”, he went on to say.  “While the Christian owned business stood up against a federal government bent on forcing them to compromise the right to life, (murder in God’s eyes) a Christian charity compromised the sacredness of marriage, stating that “it’s the right thing to do for the unity within the church.”  Forty eight hours after World Vision’s announcement, they were forced to reverse their epic decision after a flooding backlash from offended donors.  (Now too, this week, the monumental decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, allowing prayer in public and government, town hall meetings, which is an epic decision.  Thank you ACLJ and Counsel Jay Sekulov for all you do.)

The Bible gives strong warning to those who tamper with God’s truth. “From among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away  [followers] after themselves.” (Acts 20:30) Graham went on to say how especially grievous it was to him since World Vision and Samaritan’s Purse, were founded by the same man, his mentor and friend, the late Dr. Bob Pierce.  Pierce often said, “I want my heart to be broken by the things that break the heart of God.”  For the whole episode was a disregard for Biblical truth. True followers of Jesus Christ cannot endorse same sex marriage, abortion, and/or anything that offends the word of God.  These moral issues have been settled by God Himself.  And I agree with Rev. Graham that I too, would rather be on the wrong side of public opinion, that on the wrong side of Almighty God, whose word established the standard of living for the world He created.  It is a moral issue not a political one.  It is now in this pop culture about  the great compromise, calling into question the authority of the Holy Scripture!   And I add also to this, the move several years ago that was in a Christian magazine, called “Chrislam”, trying to meld Christianity and Islam together to be “politically and culturally correct”.  It was also called out on one nationwide tv station, when then, Rev. Jack Van Impe,  canceled his contract and left the tv station.  He stood for the Word of God and what was correct.  For Islam is not a religion such as Christianity, and has hate and killings while Jesus and the gospel tells us to lay that down.   You cannot side with evil. The Bible says, “Now the Spirit [of God] expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy”.  (I Timothy 4:1-2)

The late Adrian Rogers said, “It is better to be divided by truth than to be united in error.  It is better  to stand with the truth, than to be wrong with a multitude.” Graham said, ” It is time for the discussion of unity within the church to come into alignment with God’s Word on the issue of marriage.  When there is division within the church, it is because individuals are against Christ Himself, for He is the head of His church, made up of the redeemed who are called to be one with Christ.  The church, therefore, is on dangerous ground when it departs from the teaching of Christ and attempts to redefine His commands and compromise His truth.  There are many things in Scripture that Christians disagree on, but the Bible is crystal clear about the sanctity of life and marriage. ” Compromise is dangerous territory for the Christian; mixing a little truth with a lot of error, wavering between right and wrong.  Jesus said, “I know your  works, that you are neither hot nor cold.  So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot I will spew (vomit) you out of My mouth. ” Revelation 3:15,19.  That means anyone who does compromise and thinks he is saved, will “compromise” himself out of heaven losing his salvation. Spurgeon said, “Discernment is not knowing the difference between right or wrong.  It is knowing the difference between right and almost right!”

Franklin Graham said, “from compromise to deceit is a small step.” The Bible says, “I, even I am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins – state your case that you may be acquitted”. Isaiah 43:25-26  We are all great sinners who have received forgiveness by a great Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, from the lineage of David, Isaac, Jacob, Abraham.  Who went on that Cross and shed His life and his blood for the sins of all mankind.  If He could do all that for us, can we not be of one accord, as Christians, and not divert from the true Word of God? From Biblical times to now, has been fraught with the peril that comes when believers fall out of allegiance to their first love, thereby inviting grave consequences.

Mike Huckabee, former Arkansas Governor, said, “I’m stunned by the preponderance of white surrender flags flying from churches, pulpits and once decidedly biblically based organizations and businesses. We want to be ‘accepted’ and ‘included’ by the cultural elites. The result is a collapse of conviction.  Even worse is the rationale and justification.  The consequences are fairly straightforward and simple –‘if the salt has lost its savor, its useless.” Ephesians 6:11-17 “Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to STAND against the wiles of the Devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore, take unto you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day (now?) , and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth (the truth of the CROSS), and having on the breastplate of Righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; Above all, taking the shield of Faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  And take the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.”

Wherefore, Christ makes it clear, we are not to just go with the flo of compromise, or evil, but put on His armour and STAND…Let your voices be heard…be not a milk toast, cowering, and /or remain apathetic! Embracing sin, divides us.  Words like “unity, love, acceptance and forgiveness” are being widely used, these days OUT OF BIBLICAL context in an attempt to rationalize positions that DEFY scripture!  Some say we should simply stop rendering moral judgments about others, but thats NOT the answer Jesus offered.” Evangelicals who don’t compromise scriptural principles on morality are accused, both in secular and religious circles, of over-emphasizing the topic and being hateful.  Which is hogwash!   Relenting is not an option! Those who keep silent on key issues, don’t think of consequence, then you bend and ok issues that defile God. Over the years, segments of the church have been either lax or anti-biblical on issues like slavery, racial segregation, abortion, and essential doctrines of the Gospel.

In the 1940’s the German church, collapsed under the influence of Hitler’s Nazi regime.  “The consequences are DEADLY!  We have become a stumbling block to the Gospel.   There is no more severe indictment of any church or any Christian than that! Huckabee said, “I’m on earth temporarily, so the worst the world can do is shun me, punish me, or kill me.”” In 100 years years, it won’t matter.  What WILL matter is if I was faithful to God’s word.”  Wherefore I agree with the Governor, 100%.  This woman, will STAND for the gospel, for Jesus, and for the CROSS, in spite of threats, in spite of the turmoil of the world, in spite of pressure even from other Christians.  For my goal is towards eternity with my Lord, and no one else here on earth, has any dominion over me, only the one who died for my sins at the CROSS. Egypt knew truths, when Coptic Christian churches that stood for centuries, where destroyed and young Christian women killed. The Muslim Brotherhood is now deemed evil in Egypt and CRIMINAL, but Cair and the Muslim Brotherhood in America has direct access to the White House, pulling the strings! Shame on American Black pastors that voted for Obama and color, instead of voting for the CROSS!

I can only pray for the Brits. This is what happens when they leave Jesus Christ for secular.  The enemy has invaded and taken over.  I know that Trinity Broadcasting has opened up a Christian Studio in London, right down the street from Buckingham Palace. Islam, Christianity And The Antichrist

Sharia-SCThis is a comparison of the Bible verses the teachings of Islam.  Islam is  monotheistic (Koran 3:64).  The first phrase in the Declaration of the Faith states: “I bear witness that there is no God but the Almighty God and that Mohammad is a messenger of God.” “For God hath said , “Take not to yourselves two Gods, for He is one God.”(Sura 16:53;cp 20:7) “Verily God will not forgive the union of other gods with Himself.” (Sura 4:51) Islam rejects the concept of the Trinity. The Koran misrepresents the teaching of Christianity regarding the Godhead, claiming Christians believe in “three Gods”, Father, Mother, and Son. (Sura 5:116, 5:73:75; cp (Koran 5:114). Christianity teaches the account of creation recorded in the book of Genesis, God speaks plurally of His own Person.  (Genesis 1:26, 27; cp.Genesis 3:22,11:7; Isaiah 6:3,8. The Christian Scriptures, both New and Old Testaments, teach that the Godhead consists of three persons in one:  The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Isaiah 11:2, the spirit..the Lord..Him” Is 42:1, Is 48:16, 61:1,63:9, Matt. 1:20,21, 3:16, 17, 12:18, 22:42,43, Acts 11:16,17, 20:21-23,Romans 1:1,3,4, 5:5,6.

Islam says Muhammad was not divine but the last of the prophets- the very one predicted in Moses day.  “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren; and I will put my words in his mouth and he shall speak to them all that I command him.  And whoever will not give heed to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself, will require it of him. (Deut. 18:18,19) Jesus claimed to be God.  He accepted worship, forgave sins, lived a sinless life, possessed all the attributes of God and raised himself from the dead. Islam considers Jesus a prophet just like Moses, Abraham , and Noah.

Christianity says Jesus was more than a prophet. He is God (Matthew 17:5, Mark 1:1; Luke 1:35, Philippians 2:6, Hebrews 1:8, 1John 4:15. ) Islam rejects the divinity of Jesus Christ, and says God has no sons…ie..”..Allah forbid that He should have a son” (Koran 4;171) It is not meet for God to have children.” Koran 19,92, 112:3, 23:91. Christianity teaches “He was God manifest in the flesh” 1Timothy 3:16, “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” Colossians 2:9, 2 Cor 5 :19, Hebrews 1:3. The Father declared Jesus to be His Son:  “Thou art my son.  This day have I begotten you.” Heb 5:5 ,Psalms 2:7, Luke 22:70, John 10:36, 19:7.  “And the angel answ4red and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee and …that holy thing which shall be born OF thee shall be called the SON OF GOD. (Luke 1:36). Islam rejects the doctrine of original sin.   The Bible teaches man is born into sin.

Islam says salvation comes only through Allah.  Only those who obey Allah and Mohammed his prophet can enter into Heaven: Kor 3:85, cp 5:10, 25:68, 48:13.   The Bible says salvation only comes through Jesus Christ.  “Neither is there salvation in any other [than Jesus]: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. ” (Acts 4:12, John 8:24, 14:;6, 10:1-2,9, Acts 4:12, Rev. 5:1-9, IJohn 2:22,23; Isaiah 43:11, Hosea 13:4, 1Tim. 2:5.    Islam denies the crucifixion of Jesus (Koran 4:154-8…The Bible says Jesus died and rose again. (Romans 6:9,  Philip. 2:8, Heb. 9:16, Luke 18:33, 24:20, John 11:13, 12:33, Acts 2:24, 22:20, 11:26, 15:19, 20,22 Heb. 2:14. ) There are endless differences between the two religions. We can all go on YouTube or click on Amazon for Christian books from Pastors, Perry Stone, John Hagee, Rick Joyner, Franklin Graham, David Jeremiah, Ed Young Sr…on and on, and it is evident to most that the Anti-Christ will come out of Islam.  Schools need to be more attuned to what most of us Christians already know, believers or not, and stop letting the Muslim Brotherhood bully them into favoring Islamic practices, while treating Christians unequally.  The Spirit of the Antichrist by Joel Richardson: ”  While we have already discussed the actual person of the Antichrist, the Bible also talks of an antichrist spirit.  Apart from the one direct reference in the Bible to The Antichrist, there are four other times that the word is used in a more general sense by the Apostle John.  Each time it is in reference to a particular spirit.  This spirit is defined by its denial of some very specific aspects of Jesus’ nature and His relationship to God the Father.

Following are the verses that describe this “antichrist” spirit:   This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.  But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.  This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 1 John 4:2-3 Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ.  Such a man is the antichrist–he denies the Father and the Son.  No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.  1 John 2:22,23 Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 2 John 1:7 From these verses, we learn that the antichrist is a spirit that is identified as a “liar” and a “deceiver” which specifically denies the following:

  1. That Jesus is the Christ/Messiah   (The savior/deliverer of Israel and the World)
  2. The Father and the Son   (The Trinity or that Jesus is The Son of God).
  3. That Jesus has come in the flesh.   (The incarnation – that God became man)

The Anti Christ Spirit of Islam The religion of Islam, more than any other religion, philosophy, or belief system, fulfills the description of the antichrist spirit.  The religion of Islam makes it one of its highest priorities to very specifically deny all of the above points regarding Jesus and His relationship to the Father.  In fact, it can very fairly be said that Islam literally is a direct polemical response against the above essential Christian doctrines.  Regarding the above points however, Muslims will be quick to argue that Islam teaches that Jesus is indeed the Messiah.  But this is really just trickery.  While it is true that Islam does retain the title of Messiah for Jesus, when one asks a Muslim to define what the title “Messiah” actually means in Islam, the definitions given are always hollow and fall entirely short of containing any truly messianic substance.  In Islam, Jesus is merely another prophet in a very long line of prophets.  Biblically speaking however, the role of the Messiah, among other things, also entails being a Divine Priestly Savior, a Deliverer and the King of the Jews.  As we saw in the earlier chapters about the Muslim Jesus, rather than being a Messiah that saves or delivers Israel and all of his faithful followers in any way, in the Islamic traditions, Jesus instead returns to lead Israel’s enemies against her in battle and to kill or convert all Jews and Christians.  This would be the equivalent of calling Adolph Hitler, rather than Moses, Israel’s deliverer.  For now, we see that the apostle John informs us that just before the final hour, a very specific “spirit” will dominate the earth. This spirit will deny many of the essential biblical doctrines regarding who Jesus is and what He came to do. Islam epitomizes this spirit perfectly.

Tawhid and Shirk   In order to properly understand the antichrist spirit of Islam, there are two doctrines that must first be understood.  The first is called Tawhid.  It is the most essential belief in Islam. Tawhid refers to the belief in the absolute oneness of God.  Islam adheres to the strictest form of unitarian monotheism possible.  In Islam, God is utterly alone.  But in order to understand tawhid, one must understand that it is more than just a doctrine. In Islam, belief in tawhid is an absolute commandment.  And if adherance to tawhid is the highest and most important commandment in Islam, then the greatest sin is called Shirk.  Shirk is the opposite of tawhid.  It is in essence, idolatry. From the “Invitation to Islam” newsletter published by a Muslim group from Toronto, we read a very telling statement, which helps us to understand exactly how shirk is viewed by Muslims:   Murder, rape, child molesting and genocide. These are all some of the appalling crimes which occur in our world today. Many would think that these are the worst possible offences which could be committed. But there is something which outweighs all of these crimes put together: It is the crime of shirk.  1   Thus many Muslims feel as though either believing in the trinity, or ascribing divinity to Jesus are both among the greatest sins conceivable.  In fact, believing in these essential Christian doctrines is more than just a sin; it is the most heinous of all crimes!  In the Muslim mind, shirk refers not only to the beliefs of polytheists, or pagans but also to the essential historical doctrines of the Christian faith.  Below we will examine these three essential doctrines and how Islam specifically denies them.

Islam Denies The Sonship Of Christ

The religion of Islam has as one of its foundational beliefs, a direct denial of Jesus as God’s Son.  This denial is found several times throughout the Quran: In blasphemy indeed are those that say that God is Christ the son of Mary. -Surah 5:17 (Yusuf Ali) They say: “God hath begotten a son!” – Glory be to Him! He is self-sufficient!  His are all things in the heavens and on earth!  No warrant have ye for this!  Say ye about Allah what ye know not?  -Surah 10:68 (Yusuf Ali) They said, “The Most Gracious has begotten a son”!  You have uttered a gross blasphemy.  The heavens are about to shatter, the earth is about to tear asunder, and the mountains are about to crumble.  Because they claim that the Most Gracious has begotten a son.  It is not befitting the Most Gracious that He should beget a son.  –Surah 19:88-92  (Rashad Khalifa) …the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!  -Surah 9:30 (Yusuf Ali) The Quran literally pronounces a curse on those who believe that Jesus is God’s Son.  People say such things utter “gross blasphemies” and are likened to “unbelievers” or infidels.  Without question then, in this regard, Islam is an antichrist religious system.  Remember Jim Hastings comments from chapter one?  He was the priest in training who converted to Islam. “The thing I’ve always latched to is that there’s one God, he doesn’t have equals, he doesn’t need a son to come do his work.”  Islam attempts to create an acceptable form of monotheistic worship yet it not only leaves out the most essential aspects of a saving relationship with God, but it also literally exists to directly confront these things and even calls them the highest forms of blasphemy.  “Far be it from God that he should have a son!”  These words encircle the inside of the Dome of the Rock Mosque in Jerusalem.  This is the very location where for centuries God’s people; the Jews, worshipped in their Temple awaiting their Messiah.  This is also where Jesus, the Son of God and the Jewish Messiah will someday rule over the earth.  Islam has literally built a monument of utter defiance to this future reality.

Islam Denies The Trinity

The same claim of blasphemy is also applied to those who believe in the trinity: They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them. –Surah 5:73  (Yusuf Ali) Thus belief in trinity is also defined as blasphemy.  But what is the “grievous penalty” that shall befall those who believe such things?  Well, as we saw in previous chapters, many Muslims are ironically expecting their version of Jesus to return and actually kill these “polytheist Trinitarian Christians.” And the Quran does not stop at denying that Jesus is the Son of God or that God exists as a trinity.

Islam Denies The Cross

With tears in his eyes, Paul the Apostle warned the Thessalonians that, “many live as enemies of the cross of Christ.” (Thessalonians 3:18)   It should not come as a surprise then that Islam also even denies the most central event of all of redemptive history: The crucifixion of Jesus.  Speaking to the Jews of Jesus’ day, the Quran says: That they said (in boast), “We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah”; but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:- Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise – Surah 4:157-8 (Yusuf Ali) Among Islamic scholars, there are actually numerous conflicting theories regarding exactly what happened to Jesus.  (For ironically, regarding this issue, it is actually they who are the ones who have “only conjecture to follow.”)  But despite the inability of Muslims to arrive at any form of consensus regarding what happened to Jesus, they are very much in agreement on at least one issue: He was not crucified! This passage of the Quran makes at least this much clear.

How Does The Antichrist Spirit Of Islam Affect Muslims?

So we see that Islam very specifically and very deliberately denies all three of the specific doctrines that the Apostle John identifies as defining the antichrist spirit.  And the Quran does not merely deny these doctrines, but actually expresses utter disdain for them, actually cursing those who believe these things, accusing them of gross blasphemy.  But how do these Quranic attitudes then affect Muslims?  This statement may sound strong, but in all of my years of outreach, interfaith dialogue and casual conversations with those who are not Christians, the two groups that I have personally witnessed express the strongest degree of contempt and mockery toward the gospel have been Satanists and Muslims.  (Yes, believe it or not, I’ve actually had quite involved conversations with more than a few Satanists.)  Now, let me be clear that I am in no way trying to liken all Muslims to Satanists in any way.  I have met many wonderful and very decent Muslims who would never express any form of blatant disrespect for Christian doctrine, even if they secretly felt this way. But I am speaking very truthfully when I say that in terms of my personal experiences of witnessing assaults toward the Gospel message, only Satanists and Muslims have expressed such a high degree of venomous disgust.  While there are indeed many religions and systems of belief that do not agree with the doctrines of Christianity, many which do not even believe in God, only Islam fills the role of a religion that exists to deny core Christian beliefs.  And of course, following the lead of the Quran, the three doctrines that are most severely and most often attacked and mocked by Muslims are the doctrines of the trinity, the divine incarnation and the atoning sacrifice/crucifixion of Jesus.  I recently saw a suggestion by a Muslim on an Internet discussion group, for a bumper sticker.  It read: “Divine Insanity: God died on the cross to save his own creation from his own wrath.”  One Muslim friend insists on referring to Jesus as a “god-man sandwich.”  I have weathered innumerable accusations that by believing in the historic Christian God I am no different than a pagan polytheistic idol worshipper.  Many times, I have been told that the doctrine of the atoning sacrifice of Jesus is as archaic and pagan as a human sacrifice to some kind of “volcano god.”  I have been accused of believing in a God who is a “sadistic child abuser.”  I have seen attempts to liken Jesus’ death on the cross to a suicide bombing. I have even weathered the mocking of the Christian God as a “blood-thirsty vampire.” If you are a Christian and you love God, I’m sure these statements grieve you as they grieve me, and I apologize for recalling them.  I don’t relate these attacks in any way to provoke negative feelings against Muslims.  Please do not come away with any such feelings!  My reason for relating these examples is to acquaint you with the blatant antichrist spirit that resides within the religion of Islam and that many Muslims therefore manifest.  We should not be surprised then to find that one of the descriptions of the Antichrist is that he will be very fond of uttering great blasphemies against the God of the Bible: The king will do as he pleases. He will… say unheard-of things against the God of gods.  Daniel 11:36 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints.  Daniel 7:25 The Quran itself expresses such blasphemies. As someone who is in continual dialogue with numerous Muslims from all over the world, I can testify that the blatant antichrist spirit that we saw expressed in the Quranic passages above, quite often blooms into an overt disdain and utter contempt not only for Christian beliefs but also for Christians themselves. While this is not always the case, should we really be surprised when Muslims act out against those who the Quran literally curses as idolatrous infidel blasphemers?  And if we are being realistic, should we expect the future of Islam to be given to those Muslims who identify with the Quranic scorn for Christians or to those who show an amiable attitude despite the curses of their own holy book? And lastly, in regard to whether or not Islam is specifically the Antichrist system that the Bible foretells, there can be no question that this, the second largest, fastest growing religion in the world, is and has been from its inception, the quintessence of the very antichrist spirit that John the apostle warned us of. Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill.  Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand – a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come.”   Joel 2:1,2  In the days that we are now living, I believe that there are a handful of issues that God is trying to highlight to the West and specifically to the western Christian Church.  Yet sadly, even among those few who do seem to be hearing the trumpet blasts from heaven, there are even fewer who seem to be discerning what it is that they mean.  The signs are now literally emblazoned across the front page of the newspapers almost daily, yet few seem to understand where these signs are pointing.  It is my hope that this book will contribute to opening the eyes of many to the times that are quickly approaching.  Beyond this, my prayer is that this book will add understanding to those whose spirits are already both watchful and discerning. ”

The leading experts in Islamic Law met recently at the 191st meeting of the Council of Islamic Ideology and declared as un-Islamic any laws attempting to establish a minimum age for girls to be married. 

At the 192nd meeting the Council of Islamic Ideology went further and declared that women are un-Islamic and that their mere existence contradicted Sharia and the will of Allah. “Women by existing defied the laws of nature, and to protect Islam and the Sharia women should be forced to stop existing as soon as possible.” Women who express their own will (most especially non-Muslim women) will be the first targeted for extermination.
