I am by far not an economics major as is Donald Trump. I believe he has a vision for America, and most people in this pop culture American society, hearing the words “capitalism” or “socialism” being tossed around have no idea of the difference; other than socialists give away freebies. So what does it all mean? One side touts more government spending, and free college tuition, medical for everyone (at what cost?), then adds race into the picture, making the other side into the villain, by slandering and smearing. The other side purports more jobs, this wall I think we need, a richer economy, yet, a plan for getting out of the 19 trillion debt we are in; as well as keeping our American business in America, and lowering the tax loopholes, which caused them to go to other countries. So what IS the difference underneath the rhetoric?
I know one thing as I’ve written on here before, Communism and Socialism don’t work. It’s been tried, from Russia, overtaking the Czar and the Russian Revolution to Castro, and their Revolution in the 50’s, to Venezuela. They take from the rich, or from small businesses, that barely exist, close down, in a ruse to distribute wealth. It doesn’t work, for it demands a dictator.
And a dictator like Assad now in Syria, rules surrounded by wealth he never earned, but stole, and the people suffer. Russia did this, all dictator countries do this, including Libya, China, and especially North Korea, and Venezuela. So when young people, now college age, get stirred up with Bernie Sanders, do they actually know what it all entails? No. For there is a price to pay. Once when we were still in the cold war, after WWII, we understood consequences of our decisions. Reagan argued with Gorbachev. Socialism in the extreme of Bernie Sanders, is Communism; and we have at least 20 members of Congress who are members of the American Communist Party. We desperately need balance. With such a form of government it is the people who suffer to the extreme of brutality, joblessness, poverty, and hopelessness. Castro did it. They don’t even have new cars in Cuba, stores as we, and internet is censored as well. Now they want a relationship back with the US, so why? Why? Because it didn’t work after 50 years! They set themselves up like kings, and the people are trapped by any innovation, dreams, entrepreneurs for the government of Socialism won’t allow. How blind can young Americans be? So, what IS Capitalism?
Since I do not hold a graduate degree on the subject, I am taking from an author who knew and predicted 55 years ago, all that has happened to our left leaning America. Ayn Rand. I am a conservative Christian. Ayn as I wrote before was a Russian Jew, an objectivist. While she never denied God, she never included him in her philosophy. That aside, she saw what happened as I wrote here prior when the Russian soldiers came in her father’s shop and ransacked, stole, and destroyed his business. Yet, even though I am a Christian, Ayn’s prolific writings in her Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, and this one I will quote from Capitalism, best explains what I’m trying to project. This was a writer from my age growing up in the 50’s, that was so intelligent. And right! So I quote this prolific writer, whose predictions, unfortunately, going back to Wilson, all came true.
“Capitalism is a term used to denote the economic system that has been dominant in the Western World since the breakup of feudalism. Fundamental to any system called capitalist are the relations between private owners of non-personal means of production (land, mines industrial plants, etc., collectively known as capital. The resulting wage bargains determine the proportion in which the total product of society will be shared between the class of laborers and the class of capitalist entrepreneurs. There is no such thing as a “Social Surplus”. All wealth is produced by somebody and belongs to somebody!” Try telling Bernie Sanders that Donald Trumps wealth is his own, as he had the vision, he worked, and he earned it himself, as with Apple, the late Steve Jobs, etc. You don’t strip the wealthy who provide jobs, and industry, manufacturing, cause it just won’t work! “Man is the only living species that can transmit and expand his store of knowledge from generation to generation; but such transmission requires a process of thought on the part of the individual recipients. As witness, the breakdowns of civilization, the dark ages, in the history of mankind’s progress, when the accumulated knowledge of centuries vanished from the lives of men who were unable, unwilling, or forbidden to think!” (As in North Korea now!)
“This is the first question to answer. The basic issue is only: Is man free?” We can see in all these dictator Communist or Islamic countries, the answer is clearly, NO! So when we push for all these freebies here as the European Union has…(and look at Greece while your at it.) There carries with it a consequence. FREEDOM! Being unable to utilize your FREE POTENTIAL.

In a capitalist society, no man or group may initiate the use of physical force against each other. THE ONLY FUNCTION OF THE GOVERNMENT, in such a society, IS THE TASK OF PROTECTING MAN’S RIGHTS! The Government can only act as the agent of man’s right of self-defense! In a capitalist society, all human relationships are VOLUNTARY! Men are free to cooperate or not, to deal with one another or not, as their own individual judgments, convictions, and interests dictate. The right to agree with others is not a problem in any society, it is the right to disagree that is crucial. It is the institution of private property that protects and implements the right to disagree – thus keeps the road open to man’s most valuable attribute; THE CREATIVE MIND!”
Now, does any of this ring a bell? Now Apple has the FBI wanting them to undo the encrypted mechanism’s on Apple’s cell phones and our privacy so they can go into terrorist links, while also letting the Government go into all our private emails? No …and I hope that goes all the way to the Supreme Court. It is an infringement against our 1st Amendment rights …our Freedoms.
That is the difference between Capitalism and Socialism in a nutshell. Ok, what does God say?
Isaiah 58:6 “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burden, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?” I suppose it is easier for this Pope too, to make large accolades, and call out Trump on his beliefs, while at the same time, attacking America’s capitalism. But, I know another side of Mr. Trump, that he keeps secret, he gives and helps a lot of people who are in need. While the Pope in his hypocrisy, criticizes America, our Capitalism, but, then so did the Roman Pharisee’s when they crucified Jesus, and then the Catholic church lied for centuries, blaming Jesus death on the Jews, when it was Caiaphas, Herod and the Roman Soldiers that did this act on our Savior. The Catholic church is still lying, as it covers up it pedophilia, its’ obscene riches and debauchery in the Vatican, and hides. Yet HE who casts the first stone…Jesus said. Pope Francis, take the bolder out of your own eye, before you cast stones to Mr. Trump. The Vatican has enough hidden money. Donate it to Mexico, and all those you love, for I have never seen the Vatican giving away even a loaf of bread. Put your money Pope Francis where your accusing mouth is! . Love is ACTION. Love isn’t heresy. And the TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE! John 8:32 Roman’s 3:24 For we are justified by HIS grace! Amen! I only have ONE God, ONE priest, ONE King, ONE Ruler, HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST, THE I AM! One nation under God, in spite of even a Pope who wants to interfere in our Christian Constitution and leaders? Thank you Lord, Jesus for Rev. Franklin Graham and Jerry Falwell, Jr. this week standing for Trump. Voters? You have a lot to think about. Young people, college kids, wake up..the gravy train doesn’t stop at your door unless you work! And trust me, no one works unless there are Capitalist businesses for you to apply to!! And if you have the vision, the intelligence, the initiative, and creativity, you too shall rise up and be counted! Thank you Lord, I pray you have your way Lord and lead us Lord in this election.

The Bible says, that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil, not money itself. For with money many can and should be helped. American Evangelical Christians are the most giving in all the world, going to all countries. And it is all because of capitalistic free giving!

Despite the variations in socialist thought, every version advocates the benefits of cooperation among the people, steering clear of the “evils” of competition associated with capitalism.” Doesn’t work! The only uptopia is under God when we reach Glory one day.
